How to use the CareAline PICC Sleeve
After simply pulling the sleeve onto your arm and over the insertion site, the cap(s) and line is fed through a buttonhole then placed in a pocket. The pocket is a simple but important feature that keeps lines and caps off of the skin and is unique to CareAline’s patented products. The top of the sleeve is then folded down providing a second layer of protection. Access the line as indicated while keeping the sleeve in place and secure. The pocket can be faced up or down to accommodate line placement.

Designed for the arm or leg the CareAline PICC sleeve can easily be moved to the side (just like your clothing) for a site check. It does not contain latex or any type of metal that would interfere with an MRI or any other scan.

Care
All of our products can be machine washed on any cycle. We recommend machine drying on a medium heat cycle.
When in the hospital, you can wash in the sink and lay flat to dry when necessary.**

Good product and excellent customer service
I had questions about the sleeve for my recently-inserted port. I called the company phone number and received a live person - no voice mails or transfers! The agent answered all my questions, and my order arrived quickly. The sleeve is comfortable and washes easily. I was at the high end in the size range listed on the website, but found it fit very well, although I did notice that after having wearing it for a very long time (more than 8 or 9 hours) it started to feel tight, so I removed it. I found out later from the nurse at my clinic, that the sleeve shouldn't be worn directly after port insertion....that it is best to wait about two weeks; this was especially true in my case as there was a good bit of bruising and some swelling. The sleeve does not slip or move around unlike the webbed mesh cover provided by my clinic. "I highly recommend this sleeve".

Amazing 5 stars
After having a port for years it had to be removed and I had a picc line placed. Bummed about this much more hassle than a port. I have the extension tubing on mine so I can flush and use etc and I have tried, hose, socks, the wrap from the hospital, coban, tape, and wrapping the tubes around my arm. Well I am a nurse practitioner and with all of these the tubing falls out and then I have questions to answer. Well that is not why people are at my office to discuss me. Then I found this sleeve, it is amazing. holds the ports and tubing in place, no "accidental fall outs" and is comfortable to top it off and no skin issues with all that tape. Highly recommend!! I have ordered more!

PICC Line Sleeve
I purchased a couple of sleeves when I had my PICC Line. I was so frustrated with the line constantly bothering me and getting caught in my shirt. It was even causing me pain, because I am allergic to adhesives and the tape to hold it in place was giving me a terrible rash. My PICC Line sleeves were amazing, can not express enough how much my sleeve made a difficult situation a lot easier. I now have a feeding tube and I will be trying the wrap for it. I am confident that it will be just as much a blessing as my sleeves were. Thank You For a wonderful product !!!

This is the solution for PICC line protection!
I am a nurse, so I tried some tips from other medical people first for covering the PICC line I had. This is my first PICC line, so I tried cutting off socks and cutting off hosiery (better than socks) to make a sleeve for my line. I have the 17" extension on the access point and this makes those options fail often. The best before buying the CareAline sleeve was two pieces cut off knee high hosiery and putting them on with the seam at top on one and at the bottom on the other; a piece of tape on the extension helped. Forget all that!! I got red rings around my arm from those options and it is never good to have to use tape (residue and hair pulling). The CareAline PICC sleeve leaves no ring on my arm and I use no tape. It stays in place much better than the other options I tried. I had nightmares of the line getting loose and pulling out my PICC line before I started using the CareAline sleeve. I would be walking and the lines would come loose and dangle before using the CareAline sleeve.

Very happy customer!
My daughter who is medically fragile and resently got a PICC line. She five years old and is Autistic. My biggest concern is keeping it clean and covered because seeing the line come out of her arm freaks her out. This product has solved my problems and when we get her port put in we will by the cover for this as well.

Wonderful Product!
I am so glad to have found this sleeve, it is very comfortable and covers everything easily. I purchased two sleeves so I would be able to still wear one while the other was being washed. Comfort at last!
I love this picc line cover! It is so comfortable! For the first time since I had my picc line placed I can actually say I forgot it was there while wearing this cover. I don't have to worry about my lumens getting pulled or snagged on clothing and the privacy it provides is an added bonus. I highly suggest this product to anyone that needs a picc line.
