CareAline PICC Line Sleeve
Be an active member of your healthcare team. Take a proactive approach in managing the risks associated with your PICC line
CareAline’s Hypoallergenic PICC Line Sleeve with patented utility offers a buttonhole that guides line(s) off the skin providing a barrier from bacteria and contamination, while also protecting the skin from irritation and pressure related injuries, helping reduce exposure to infection. It is the only product on the market to have a securing pocket technology to safely store and secure PICC Lines and extensions. The two-layer design provides safe securement that keeps the patient in mind and was functionally designed to reduce dependency on adhesive products. Hypoallergenic cotton offers high quality comfort first, breathable material, with no added skin irritants such as coatings, latex or rubber. Product is easily washable in a machine washer and dryer, or by hand in a hospital.
How to use the CareAline PICC Sleeve
After simply pulling the sleeve onto your arm and over the insertion site, the cap(s) and line is fed through a buttonhole then placed in a pocket. The pocket is a simple but important feature that keeps lines and caps off of the skin and is unique to CareAline’s patented products. The top of the sleeve is then folded down providing a second layer of protection. Access the line as indicated while keeping the sleeve in place and secure. The pocket can be faced up or down to accommodate line placement.
Designed for the arm or leg the CareAline PICC sleeve can easily be moved to the side (just like your clothing) for a site check. It does not contain latex or any type of metal that would interfere with an MRI or any other scan.
Whether at the hospital, clinic, home or in the community, you will be provided with the privacy and security to live your life free from the risk associated with hanging venous access lines.
All of our products can be machine washed on any cycle. We recommend machine drying on a medium heat cycle.
When in the hospital, you can wash in the sink and lay flat to dry when necessary.**
We recommend washing every 1-3 days and when soiled.
*PLEASE NOTE: THIS DOES NOT REPLACE THE STERILE BANDAGE USED TO SECURE THE TUBING AT THE INSERTION SITE
**AVOID STRETCHING THE FABRIC WHEN WET - DO NOT WRING, OR HANG TO DRY

I don’t have much to compare to, because this is the first time I’ve ever had to purchase a PICC Line sleeve, but they are great. I purchased 2 and am purchasing 2 more because my husband says they fit nice and snug and cover his lines, so they are discreet. The black, like most materials, seems to collect or show more lint, etc, but the gray is fantastic. I’m buying another gray and trying the blue as well. I love the story behind this company, which is why I decided to buy from Carealine. There were other options on Amazon, but after reading more about the company, I decided to go to their website and buy directly. We received our products within 3 days... same day PICC Line was put in, so perfect timing. Thank you Carealine for making such a perfect product.
I am thrilled I found this wonderful company and product. I was searching for a cover for my PICC and happened upon CareAline online. I had questions regarding the material as I have sensitive skin and wanted to be sure it was soft enough. I called the company and had a wonderful conversation that reassured me about the product as well as learning about their company. Having cancer survivors and family members of cancer patients create products means they care and know what people actually need. The sleeve works perfectly and is so comfortable. My nurses and doctors have been impressed with it and have never seen anything as nice. HIGHLY recommend the sleeve and CareAline!
My daughter loves your product. She has a double lumen PICC with multiple extensions. This product is great. It holds up well and protects her arm from all the lines rubbing. It is high quality material and soft on her skin. She loves the different colors and matches to her outfit for the day. So glad that we found CareALine. They have been great. Will be ordering more soon. I would rate it higher if there were more than 5 stars.
We recently found ourselves at Children's Hospital, unexpectedly. Within hours, our 9 year old son was diagnosed with cancer, admitted onto the oncology unit, and beginning chemotherapy. Your product made our son more comfortable with his PICC. It was easy to order online and we received the order quickly.
So much better than a sock! Comfortable and lightweight. Sizing was a slight issue for me. I wish I had dropped down a size, even with the measuring of my arm. Very happy with this product.
My daughter is 18 months old, I measured her bicep and purchased the size 2 as her arm was 6-7inches around and the sleeve fit perfectly. My daughters line is a little long and goes past her wrist. I ended up flipping the sleeve around and pointing the lumen up to make it easier for her. She wears it everday while at daycare and she has had 0 issues with it. The material is lightweight which is perfect for these hot summer months. Without the sleeve she was forced to wear a long sleeve shirt to daycare to ensure her line was covered. This product has been wonderful! I ordered Sunday PM and received it Wednesday (Located in MD).
I love the quality and ingenuity of the product. The only drawback for me is the length of my line. I can't completely fold the fabric over. It's not a big deal, though. It hides what I need to keep hidden.
I bought another cover through Amazon and it fit perfectly the first day, then strectched out so I was constantly pulling it up (I tried washing it in hot water, drying it, etc). So I returned it and got one size smaller. It was so tight it was cutting off my circulation! Tried wearing it on my other arm to stretch it out, but nothing. Had to return that one too. Luckily I then stumbled upon this site. This cover is so comfortable and easy to use (albeit slightly confusing the first time to figure out exactly the correct way to put it on). I highly recommend it! My only complaints are the lack of variety available and the fact that there's a tag that sticks out.
I have had a couple of PICC lines over the past two years and have not gotten a cover until now and I wish I would have a long time ago it is really comfortable. I just wish that all the colors were available my three first picks were black, purple and orange and they were all three gone. I have checked every once in a while for the past few months to see if there are any in those colors and so far every time that I look they still do not have them.
