Be an active member of your healthcare team. Take a proactive approach in managing the risks associated with your central line.

CareAline’s Hypoallergenic Wrap with patented utility offers a tubular solution with buttonholes that directs the line(s) off the skin providing a barrier from bacteria and contamination, while also protecting the skin from irritation and pressure related injuries, helping reduce exposure to infection. The patented utility has the two-layer design that provides safe securement that keeps the patient in mind and was functionally designed to reduce dependency on adhesive products. Hypoallergenic cotton offers high quality comfort first, breathable material, with no added skin irritants such as coatings, latex, metal or rubber

Product is easily washable in a machine washer and dryer, or by hand in a hospital.

How to use the CareAline Wrap

Lay the wrap in front of you or your loved one with the label facing down. Pass the line through one of the two button holes. Use the first hole for longer lines, second for shorter. Thread the line between the two layers of fabric and and exit through the first button hole on the opposite side of the wrap. Slide the cap under the label and into the second button hole. Then stretch the wrap around the body and secure with velcro. Pull the wrap up to cover the dressing. Access the line as indicated while keeping the wrap in place and secure.

Designed for most central venous access or gastric lines in the torso such as Hickman, Broviac, Groshong, medi port, G-tube, or PEG tube, the CareAline Wrap can easily be moved to the side (just like your clothing) for a site check. It can be positioned in various ways on the body depending on the location of the line and does not contain latex or any type of metal that would interfere with an MRI or any other scan. Whether at the hospital, clinic, home or in the community, you will be provided with the privacy and security to live your life free from the risk associated with hanging venous access and gastric lines.

Care

All of our products can be machine washed on any cycle. We recommend machine drying on a medium heat cycle. Secure the Velcro before washing to protect other clothing.

When in the hospital, you can wash in the sink and lay flat to dry when necessary. We recommend washing every 1-3 days and when soiled.

*PLEASE NOTE: THIS DOES NOT REPLACE THE STERILE BANDAGE USED TO SECURE THE TUBING AT THE INSERTION SITE

**Avoid stretching the fabric when wet - do not wring, or hang to dry.

Wish I would have found this earlier

This product is incredible. My son has always been very protective of his Broviac and keeps it tucked up pretty tightly. Then after a defect in the line caused us to need an extension added it fell way linger than it was previously. Once we received his CareALine, he could wrap it up and hold it close and safe to him again. Thank you for creating these for our babies.

    Excellent!

We purchased several of these for our 9 month old with a central line. They hold the line in place and protect it, while keeping it away from his grasp and his diaper. I would highly recommend this to anyone with an infant or child with a central line!

Ever since I inserted the hickman line , I had multiple accidental pulling of the line . Luckily , I found careAline who provided a solution to my problem . With this product , the line no longer dangle. The wrap makes it easier for accessibility and hides my line . I would recommend this product to those with hickman line .

    Great Product

My 4 year old son currently has a broviac central line. His skin was getting sensitive to the medical tape we used to hold his tubes in place. I found this product and it has been great. it fits my son well and holds his tubes in place. He also doesn't have to take it off at the doctor's while getting his blood drawn. I will recommend this product to other families.

works for even a super-sensory kid

Posted by Unknown on 4th Mar 2013

Due to multiple repairs, my son's line is very long. Securing it with tape was getting dicey, but he is really sensory. Well, after fighting to get it on, I convinced him we'd take it off the next morning if he still found it objectionable. He's had it on since 4 days ago. He forgot it was there!
