Be an active member of your healthcare team. Take a proactive approach in managing the risks associated with your central line.

CareAline’s Hypoallergenic Wrap with patented utility offers a tubular solution with buttonholes that directs the line(s) off the skin providing a barrier from bacteria and contamination, while also protecting the skin from irritation and pressure related injuries, helping reduce exposure to infection. The patented utility has the two-layer design that provides safe securement that keeps the patient in mind and was functionally designed to reduce dependency on adhesive products. Hypoallergenic cotton offers high quality comfort first, breathable material, with no added skin irritants such as coatings, latex, metal or rubber

Product is easily washable in a machine washer and dryer, or by hand in a hospital.

How to use the CareAline Wrap

Lay the wrap in front of you or your loved one with the label facing down. Pass the line through one of the two button holes. Use the first hole for longer lines, second for shorter. Thread the line between the two layers of fabric and and exit through the first button hole on the opposite side of the wrap. Slide the cap under the label and into the second button hole. Then stretch the wrap around the body and secure with velcro. Pull the wrap up to cover the dressing. Access the line as indicated while keeping the wrap in place and secure.

Designed for most central venous access or gastric lines in the torso such as Hickman, Broviac, Groshong, medi port, G-tube, or PEG tube, the CareAline Wrap can easily be moved to the side (just like your clothing) for a site check. It can be positioned in various ways on the body depending on the location of the line and does not contain latex or any type of metal that would interfere with an MRI or any other scan. Whether at the hospital, clinic, home or in the community, you will be provided with the privacy and security to live your life free from the risk associated with hanging venous access and gastric lines.

Care

All of our products can be machine washed on any cycle. We recommend machine drying on a medium heat cycle. Secure the Velcro before washing to protect other clothing.

When in the hospital, you can wash in the sink and lay flat to dry when necessary. We recommend washing every 1-3 days and when soiled.

*PLEASE NOTE: THIS DOES NOT REPLACE THE STERILE BANDAGE USED TO SECURE THE TUBING AT THE INSERTION SITE

**Avoid stretching the fabric when wet - do not wring, or hang to dry.

    Lifesaver

These wraps have saved my sanity. My eleven month old had his central line placed nearly two months ago prior to his bone marrow transplant. These wraps keep his central line out of his sight and mind. They are very easy to manage. Thank you for this great product!

    Great Product

These wraps have been a great help with my granddaughters central line, We use to just tape them to the out side of her shirt, over her shoulder. Hoping she wouldn't play with them. some days she would be fine with them and other days she would have them hanging down and because she doesn't walk yet they would drag the floor, but with these wraps out of sight out of mind. Thanks for a great Product.

Best thing I've bought all year!

Posted by Lauren Kelly on 10th Dec 2015

I bought this for my 15 month old that is going through chemo. His treatments are 5 days long and we were having him accessed and deaccessed everyday because he would mess with his line. He got a terrible rash and even dislodged the needle causing the chemo to go into the skin around his port, no fun. The nurse mentioned the Carealine and I bought it the same day, it is amazing. He has been accessed for 3 days straight and thanks to the Carealine he doesn't even know it's there because it's all covered and the tubes are hidden. Definitely worth it if you have a busy kiddo, thank you for creating it.

    use for gtube

Posted by Aimee on 24th Oct 2015

Love this wrap! my 16 month old is very active and this wrap is perfect for keeping his gtube in place. It is comfortable, and he barely notices me putting it on him. I passed along the info to the case workers at Texas Childrens in Houston. They loved the product and said they will start suggesting it to patients! :)

Great product but not great for me

Posted by Lauren on 28th Sep 2015

The concept behind this is wonderful but when I had my g tube put in I was unaware that the doctors wanted me to bolus feed. So unfortunately the band doesn't work out as well as I would have hoped. However I have found use for it in still smoothing out the "tube circle" by just wearing it and not running my tube through the slots.

    Just what we needed!

This is a great product. Our 2 1/2 yr old grandson has a central line and the cords were always getting caught. We ordered two and our daughter said all the nurses comment about how great it works.

    amazing

Posted by cory fox on 27th Apr 2015

My daughter is 15 months and recently started getting curious about the IV lines and pulling them. We have had her broviac pulled out out once and almost another close call. With this wrap we can tuck everything behind her or somewhere besides right down the middle... Even the nursing staff at the hospital liked it and the nurse educator took photos of it and this website so they can order some and refer other patience. Thanks for an amazing product we love it!

We absolutely love this product, keeps his little hands off his dressing ( picks it off ). Wish I would have known about it sooner
